Ghana Election Petition: Supreme Court sets March 4 for judgment

Ghana’s Supreme Court has fixed March 4, 2021, to deliver judgment on the ongoing 2020 presidential election petition.

The panel of seven fixed the date on Monday, after disposing of all other pending motions.

The March 4 date was set after the Apex Court dismissed former President John Mahama’s review application to reopen his case.

It is the third review application from the Petitioner that was dismissed.

After the dismissal, the court directed the Petitioner to file his closing address by close of Tuesday, February 23, 2021.
